TO QUESADA LIFE WEBSITE

Hi There I hate to go on about this but is the site any nearer to sorting the advertising banners on the pages, even with my computer screen at full scope the banners are still covering the pages particularly on services and properties. Is anyone else still having problems with this ?

Yes it is being worked on, at the moment you will see a x in the corner of each banner, click this and the banner will be deleted for the time you are online

Can I add my endorsement here? As an english speaking 'Brit', I've been attending Berlingua and they are excellent. All of the teachers are professionally qualified (ie not just "spanish speakers" who want to earn a little bit money on the side). You get what you pay for in this life and if you really want to learn Spanish my advice is to use a professional.

Saturday Market Cultural Route

Saturday 7 May 2011, 10.30am from the tourist information office in Almoradi is the next cultural route walk. If you would like to attend just turn up on the day and join in. The spanish guide speaks English and it is good way of learning the history and culture of the towm.

Auction at Hillside

If anyone is having a sort out they have an auction every Friday at Hillside Sports Bar, you take your items in the morning and then the auction is in the afternoon

I have a large golfing group coming over for a few weeks and we would like to travel round the ex-pat areas and see what is going on. So can anyone let me know about La Marina and the places that we should go to.

Is Divas bar where all the Ex-pats hang out? Can you give me directions to it please. I know the main drag though La Marina and that's about it.

Diva's Bar, is almost at the top of the Urb, on the main strip, near the chemist and little newsagents, also near where Cromwells use to be.

THINGS GOING ON

I would like to see what is going on in the area as I will be visiting soon with family and want to plan the best time to come, is it possible for the local x-pats to help out by posting some info on the calender they have on the site so us back home can see what is on offer. Thanks peep's

Hi Bobby I am not from this area but have been a few times, its very nice and even though its very much a Spanish area there are a lot of Brits there. I am sure they have a local bar they hang out in as do most of the areas where x-pats are living. Good luck in your search.
